IKONOS 80cm Global High-Resolution Satellite Imagery
IKONOS, the world’s first high-resolution commercial color imaging satellite, was launched on September 24, 1999 from Vandenburg Air Force Base in California. The IKONOS satellite collected Panchromatic imagery at 0.82m and Multispectral imagery at 3.2m (at nadir.) IKONOS ceased new collections in January 2015, however its 15+ year imagery archive is still available and Maxar’s (DigitalGlobe) robust constellation WorldView-1, WorldView-2, WorldView-3 and GeoEye-1) remains available for new satellite imagery collections.
Contact LAND INFO for online access to imagery via Vantor Hub (formerly MGP Pro), a custom tasking collection quote or archive image search with imagery recommendation, processing options, academic/EDU pricing and volume purchase discounts; you may also submit your project area via Land Info’s online SAT search tool.
