Scanning
LAND INFO can scan virtually any paper topographic
map or other large-format document as large as 54 inches in width.
We offer a range of color schemes (generally 8-bit or RGB)
and Dots Per Inch (DPIs) (generally 250 - 500 dpi).
Some of the custom scanning projects that LAND
INFO has performed include topographic maps, geologic maps, land-use
maps, blue prints, survey and CAD drawings. The company is well
known in the GIS Industry for having scanned and geo-referenced
all 58,000+ 20k - 500k topographic maps of the US for the United
States Geological Survey.
